Printmaking in its many forms is where I am happiest. Teaching both classes and workshops as well as creating my own work at my studio in Kommetjie is where you will find me.

Living on the peninsula at the tip of South Africa provides great inspiration for visual expression. My interests lie in environmental issues as well as spiritual-geographical connections: the land and the liminal are themes which I find intrinsically resonant, yet also tend to permeate the global milieu.

Several decades in the evolving world of graphic design led me to seeking more tangible art forms. In 2010 I discovered my passion for printmaking while on a journey into conceptual art - through a degree in Visual Art - and into my own studio where I now work and teach.

My artmaking process explores a fascination for textural and often ethereal marks, in an ongoing quest to give visual meaning to an idea.
